November 20, 2021
The Barrie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that while a traditional parade just isn’t possible this year, Santa Claus is still coming to Barrie!! In addition to pop-up visits with several local businesses, Santa will also be touring residential neighbourhoods throughout our wonderful city on Saturday, November 20, 2021!! This day of fun activities is presented in partnership with the City of Barrie and the Downtown Barrie BIA. Many thanks to our Santa Tour sponsors: Telus, Devry Smith Frank LLP, DriveWise, Wylie Ford, and the Hampton Inn & Suites.
Plan to participate in the kick-off festivities for the Noella Festival with your family on November 20, 2021!
The full route map is now available!! You can follow the timing on Barrie Transit’s MyRide mobile-friendly page to find out when and where you can see Santa drive through your area on an antique fire truck. This will give you and other local families the chance to see him in person while staying masked, distanced, and safe. Be sure to watch our social media channels for other fun Santa Tour activities with our business community!
After travelling through the city, Santa will head to Open Air Dunlop in Downtown Barrie to kick off the Noella Festival where families will be able to take distanced photos with him between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Many thanks to the City of Barrie’s Community Events team and their Transit team for helping us pull all the critical pieces together and finding the best route for Santa through our city streets.
