Membership
The Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber”) will consider all applications for membership. Membership in the Chamber is conditioned upon approval of the membership application by the Chamber. If you have applied for membership and membership is declined, your application fee and/or dues will be refunded to you.

The Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce Web Sites are operated from a site in the Province of Ontario, Canada. We make no representation that materials found at our sites are appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you access our sites from other locations, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. Cancellation Policy


Event Registration

If you need to cancel an event reservation for any reason, please call us at 705.721.5000 at least three (3) business days prior to the event to receive a refund. Some special events will have a specific cancellation date noted on the registration page that is more than three (3) business days prior to the event; we will not be able to provide refunds for cancellations submitted after that specified cancellation date. Due to expenses incurred on your behalf, reservations will not be cancelled or refunded during the three (3) business days prior to the event (or after a specified cancellation date). Thank you for understanding.

Prepayment Policy

The Chamber’s payment policy exists to help contain costs and to permit the organization to continue delivering valuable, high-quality programs and benefits. All programs and products provided by the Chamber or its partners must be paid for in advance or at the time of purchase, unless otherwise noted. By minimizing invoicing and other costs, the policy should improve efficiency and maximize value for members’ dues investments.

Web & Social Media Policy

Website Listings

Current Chamber members are listed in the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce website Member Directory. Members are responsible for the accuracy of their listing; updates can be submitted to the Chamber office by fax at 705.726.0973 or by email to admin@barriechamber.com. Members can also update their online listing information through the Member Zone. For security reasons, the system will disable the listing until the changes are approved by Chamber staff. It is recommended updates be submitted during office hours, preferably in the morning, so that listings are not offline for an extended period of time.

Members may opt not to be listed in the online directory, and must contact the Chamber Office at 705.721.5000 or admin@barriechamber.com to do so.
