It’s hard enough trying to balance work and personal life in “normal” times.  It’s even more difficult when you’re a business owner or there’s a family crisis.  It’s even more trying in the middle of a pandemic.

Rose Pellar will share some proven methods of walking the tightrope between work and personal life, ones which she has used successfully and still uses herself.  You may already know of them or even already use some yourself.

This presentation will expose some of the reasons why you constantly feel there is never enough time in the day, why you are stressed out and  feeling quite like the hamster on the wheel – running so fast and getting nowhere.

Rose stresses that it is vitally important to be first very specific about what you want to achieve for your business life as well as for your personal life so that you no longer walk a tightrope – it becomes a cake walk.

About the Panelist

ROSE PELLAR, B.A.S., LL.B.

Rose Pellar will have been practicing as a Lawyer for 25 years in February 2022.  She is very proud to be an associate lawyer at JMS Law in Barrie.  She provides clients with Family Law resolutions using a collaborative approach and settlement negotiations so they can avoid the high cost of litigation.  She also assists clients to acknowledge their loved ones with their bequests in the preparation of their Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Rose is also author of “A Gift in Every Challenge” which is a part memoir (about her Mother for whom divorce was not an option and about her for whom divorce was the only option), and part inspirational – providing encouragement and inspiration to her readers.

Rose likes to say that she’s a graduate of the school of hard knocks.  Rose has gained a lot of insights about dealing with stress and finding life balance from having gone through a very difficult childhood, lost her life’s savings when she migrated to Canada, got her undergraduate degree through part-time studies while working full-time and taking care of a family, been divorced, been a single Mom, and gone to Law School in her 40’s, while living in a bachelor apartment on campus.  Despite her challenges, Rose has continued to maintain a positive outlook on life.

Rose has been a student of many very well-known personal development mentors for over 20 years.  She has extracted, blended and distilled their teachings to come up with her very own guidelines for finding balance and living a successful and happy life.

Rose is a certified coach with Life Mastery Institute and a certified Action Formula TM Leader through Professional Impact Inc.
