[September 11, 2024 - Barrie, ON] Executive Director, Paul Markle had the privilege of delivering the keynote address at the Annual General Meeting of Empower Simcoe. In his address, Paul highlighted the importance of the collaboration between the Barrie Chamber of Commerce, Empower Simcoe and business leaders within the community. Collectively we are tackling issues that impact all of us. Social issues are business issues. The Barrie Chamber is proud to advocate for changes that will pave the way for the best of Barrie.
In addition to the AGM, Empower Simcoe also hosted the Gift of the Heart Awards. Created to recognize individuals and organizations who give selflessly of their time and energy to improve the quality of life for people of all abilities in our community, as well as Empower Simcoe and it's many varied programs of supports and services.
