Volunteering

A strong volunteer base is important to every Chamber; and we are appreciative of every volunteer that we have the privilege of working with. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at the Barrie Chamber that will suit many levels of time/energy commitment. We rely on volunteers in the following areas:

• Regular committees
• Special event planning committees
• Board of Directors
• On-site event activities

The Chamber has four standing committees that meet on a monthly basis:

• Board of Directors
• Executive Council
• Marketing/Membership Committee
• Governmental Affairs

Other committees, such as the Santa Claus Parade Committee, meet on an as needed basis.
