Types of Content

There are many forms of content you can provide for a Social Blog Post on the Barrie Chamber Blog.  Remember this is not about YOU. This is all about the reader!  So keep it short, sweet and interesting. Here are a few examples of types of content:

  • How to
  • Did you know
  • Product/service announcements
  • Promotions

Everything we do should have a goal. Goals come in various forms; from lead generation, to lead nurturing to building relationships and referrals. Here are a few examples of Barrie Chamber Blog Post Writer Goals:

  • First paragraph should be written well to outline the blog post to build curiosity for the reader to want to read more.
  • Consider use of bullets, bolded text, text colour and sub-heading.
  • Strategically place your key-phrases through-out your content, also known as keyword density.
  • Blog posts are typically 250 to 350 words.  Note they are not eBooks or Whitepapers.
  • Use images in content.
  • Embed a YouTube Video to the post for added value.
  • Links to your website, email, or your Social Media Channels.

Blogs Get Found in Google
