April BBN - Healthy Body, Healthy Business?

On Thursday April 4th, Cathy Housser of Fitness Infuzion for Women spoke to our members about the correlation between maintaining our personal health and keeping our businesses healthy. She noted that the following 5 steps she spoke about for health improvement also apply to being successful many other areas of your life:

  1. Make a commitment to yourself - make it real; say it out loud.
  2. Plan
  3. Work out - if you are already active, then you need to add strength training to build muscle; your body won't respond differently to what it's already used to doing.
  4. Enhance your knowledge - lern how to get past plateaus, find out how much water your body needs in a day, track visually so you know you're doing what you set out to do.
  5. Mindy/Body connection - reflection.

We all do many of these in our every day lives, we just need to put the tools to use.
