3rd Annual BARRIE FALL FISHING FESTIVAL - September 27th – October 6th

Kempenfelt Bay’s largest catch & release ten-day perch fishing tournament sponsored by the Rotary Club of Barrie-Huronia featuring one tagged perch valued at $10,000 cash and a prize board in excess of $50,000 in cash and merchandise.

Fish in HandOne of the largest prize boards available to the recreational angler! This ten-day event attracts both avid anglers and family fishing from the shores of Barrie’s waterfront or if you chose to bring your boat. Perch are abundant in the waters of Kempenfelt Bay every fall and they are one of the easiest fish to catch too! This makes our event attractive to anglers of all ages and physical ability.

We offer a minimum of 70 tagged perch and if caught their value could be from (65) $500, (5) $1,000 and of course (1) $10,000, nobody knows the actual value of the tagged fish until the opening of a notarized sealed envelope at the closing ceremonies!

There are daily merchandise prize draws for turning in a live fish of any species, along with a cash draw of (1) $5,000, (3) $1,000 and (4) $500 which is available to anyone who enters whether you fish or not!

Enter online or at either Canadian Tire Store or The Bait Bucket all in Barrie.

Headquarters located at the Sea Cadets building beside the government dock in Barrie.

Daily from 7 am – 7 pm and October 6th from 7 am – 12 pm.

100% of the proceeds are used to fund Rotary Community Projects in Barrie.
