Lakehead University's Orillia campus is striving to build an environmental research facility in Simcoe County. The University is seeking funding through FedDev Ontario's Prosperity Initiative (Building a Competitive Advantage).
Success in obtaining funding depends on the number of private sector small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) who are involved and who could benefit from working with the faculty and staff of the environmental research laboratory. The University is proposing that the laboratory's initial capabilities include, but not be limited to, the provision water and sediment analyses, microbiological analysis, and laboratory skills training.
It is anticipated that local businesses will benefit from the capabilities of the proposed facility. Accordingly, we would appreciate your completion of the following short survey by 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 15th.
