Green Step

In 2010, the Barrie Chamber started a task force to educate and promote sustainable growth and conservation practices in environment, energy and economy, by engaging the Barrie community. In recent months, this group has worked on redefining its goals, mission, activities, and potential programs. They have renamed themselves Green Step, to make the concept easier to grasp quickly, and will be relaunching their programs shortly. Watch this space for news, to learn about sustainability, and to get involved in making Barrie a more sustainable community.
